Please review this policy carefully before enrolling. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Because we reserve dedicated counselor and instructor time, hold limited cohort seats, and begin preparation for your student immediately upon enrollment, all enrollments are final and all payments are non-refundable. This applies to every program:
You may stop participating in a program at any time. However, cancelling participation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid. Early Guidance is a one-time payment covering 12 months of service; it does not automatically renew, and no partial refund is issued if you choose to discontinue before the 12 months end.
Montara provides professional guidance, instruction, and support. We do not guarantee any specific admission decision, scholarship, financial-aid result, or standardized-test score, and refunds are not available on the basis of a particular outcome.
The one exception is our SAT Prep score improvement guarantee. If a student who completes an SAT Prep cohort does not score at least 75 points above their week-one diagnostic on the official SAT that cohort prepares for, the student may enroll in the next available 8-week cohort at no charge. The guarantee is capped at a score of 1500, so a student whose diagnostic is above 1425 is guaranteed to reach 1500. To qualify, the student must attend at least 7 of the 8 live sessions, complete the assigned async modules and practice tests, sit the official SAT for the aligned test date, and share the official score report with us within 30 days of its release. The remedy under this guarantee is a free seat in the next cohort; it is not a refund, and it may be used once per enrollment.
